How do people get trained to work with luxury spas, resorts, salons, doctors or even start their own business? All courses are taught at the Alexander Thomas Academy Of Skin Care. The school's objectives are to prepare students for these esthetic careers and to develop within them a sense of responsibility, teamwork, and loyalty to their coworkers, employees or employers.
This course is structured as a "part-time" course, recognizing that the students have lives to live while they are receiving their education in esthetics. While most people are anxious to start their new careers, it is my experience that it is easier to balance one's life with a 15 to 20 hour class week, keeping in mind that there will also be time spent on homework.
This is not a "gravy" course; it involves a great deal of reading and memorization. We will do our best to prepare you to be a good esthetician by teaching you the information and techniques. You also need to do your best to study, ask questions, listen, and practice.
